OK I see you are using the Internet and not LAN this call isn't designed for the WAN.

I think NextPVR needs a way of passing those XMLTV URL's to Kodi, I will discuss with sub.

It is actually a VPN (Tailscale), and I do have the Remote Connection (in Kodi Add-On) turned off.

Let me rephrase that the call the pvr.nextpvr uses for that art only works on the private IP ranges. If you try on a LAN you will probably see more art.

Got it. Yeah the 100.64.0.0/10 network space isn't technically private like 192.168 and 10. networks, it also isn't public internet. I think it is typically used in CGNAT scenarios by ISPs.

If that address space gets added, then it will probably work. I will try again if it happens.

I suppose I could set up the VPN to access my office network (where the NextPVR server is) and use the subnet router that I have set up in the office, so I could access via 10.1.13.5. It would still route over the VPN, but in theory it should be transparent, as long as the functionality can route between private address subnets.

I finally got around to trying my Tailscale VPN which includes a subnet router. It worked fine. So instead of using my Tailscale address (100.x.x.x), I was able to use 10.1.13.x address, and even though it is routing over the internet (albeit wrapped in the VPN), it pulls the correct art work.

That's good, that range wasn't designed for local LAN is not recommended. Thanks for confirming.

The non IP issues you reported in this thread are also being looked at for the next version of NextPVR, follow the forum for release info.

@muzicmsn0 v7.0.3 fixes the server side issues you were experiencing and a new pre release version of pvr.nextpvr will show your channelsDVR xmltv art if you want to test that out.

I had just updated to the release. I know I went through and deleted some of the jpg (iirc) files and I haven't had issues since then. How would I go about testing? I also set up my tailscale on my Google TV boxes with a subnet router, so all my IPs are now on a 10.x.x.x subnet (even though it is over the VPN), so the Guide art has also been working.

The only thing I haven't gotten working is from another thread (limiting episodes recorded to episodes longer than x amount of time).

Happy to test anything you would like me to verify though.

The new version handles the XMLTV order from ChannelsDVR. The pre-release install zip files are here https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts The XMLTV icons will load much faster, load from the Internet and you don't even need to enable guide art.

I don't help with custom rules.

I tried to install the Kodi add-on, but it says that the kodi binary.instance.pvr something v9.2 couldn't be satisfied. I am probably doing something wrong, but I am pretty confident I downloaded the right zip file (x86_64) for my Windows i9-12900H CPU.
