I cant really say yet. Lots things I try come off looking like shit, so I dont end up including them, same goes for new menu types. Its easier to just not mention features early, rather get people complaining later when I choose not to include it.

I've completed a horizontal menu in the style of Dottore's screen shots, and it looks alright, so this will definitely be included.

I can confirm there wont be any flashy animations.

That layout look extremly professional, and also feels very familiar. It looks great with many backgrounds. Let the user pick kind of like desktop wallpaper. I really like the design.

Yes, very familiar...I'm sure you all can be very good skinners in DOS, and Dottore can make even better skins out of dots and comas. Hey, look what he did from lines. He makes the skins in Commodore 64 or what? Even Amiga had better grafics than your skin has. I don't know your age guys but you all live in last century. We run windows for a decade now don't we? We don't use comand lines anymore, or do we? Not for TV meant software, you must be kidding me.

Hey, if you want a user interface where you move around in a 3d world with like explosions and stuff - go look somewhere else...

I'm gonna go and refer you to sub's answer from the first post you made...

BTW, I think Dottore's icons totally rock! Simple, yes - but that's the beauty of them. I'm not sure about the background though, but since the idea was to have it interchangeable it doesn't really matter.

Oh, so because of you GBPVR improved so much since my first post.
Interesting attitude! If nobody accepts critics and nobody is allowed to compare anything, you came to dead end. Sub is evidently fed up with programing and changing. It seems everybody in general want more graphics and animations but sub finishes it: I will not do this...I won't implement that...and idiots like you are his first defense. You will turn on the same old grounds for a long time my friends.

If it's so bad, why are you here - other than to troll? It's all being well you suggesting you are a critic, but you do not offer any viable, interesting suggestions - you just resort to insults and insinuations.

he has really good reasons for not doing things like animations, namely the MVP/350/XCard wont work with them.

its simple, yes i would love to see him try and use DD or something which could speed up the drawing process (but that would be a lot of work, and out of the scope of this threads intention).

he just wants a new skin for f*** sake !!!

i just like bugging him now and again for a feature i know he wont be adding any time soon, just so hopefully one day he changes his mind.

I'm really looking forward to testing the 4:3 version, the screenshorts have looked great!
