I am new to NextPVR and trying to figure out how to show live TV on my TV. I used to use Windows Media Player, but I have a reformatted laptop that now has Windows 10 on it.

Can you tell me how to put it on my network and the TV to see the channels?

Thank you!

You can read the wiki https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki but no point in opening multiple posts. Why not resolve this thread first https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=66621

Thanks for the reply! My other post was about channels not showing up and using Roku. I have the channels showing and don't need Roku, I was just wondering since that would be easier.
So, I read through most of the wiki first link but it didn't tell me how to display live tv from NextPVR onto my tv.
Do I need to go to a webpage on the tv and direct it to: http://localhost:8866/index.html I guess I was looking for an app or something.
BTW, I am using HDHomeRun and SchedulesDirect.

Since you post with no followup messages it is hard to know what is going on.

If you don't need Roku you still need a client, but it depends on your SmartTV capabilities and you didn't provide information on that. Generally Android boxes IMO make the best clients if the SmartTV doesn't support NextPVR clients.

Did you use Kodi with WMC? There is a NextPVR client for it.

We have a Samsung TV and I have an Xbox that we have used in the past for Windows Media Center.
The instructions don't say anything about a client, so I was confused. Do most TVs have an app for NextPVR? I haven't looked for it on the tv actually. Sad I only checked via Roku. BTW, Roku has an app for HDHomeRun, but it's not as clear of a picture.
