IPv6 is not working on your device which is why that first link failed, there is and update later in this thread posted for that.

The 403 is simply that you don't have a Silicondust subscription, the first call tries to use it as it providers better data

I updated post #1 to v2.1 for recent API changes. Older versions will fail.

I updated post #1 to v2.1.1 Only 3 days of data are now provided in the trial mode. I recommend updating to their DVR version https://shop.silicondust.com/shop/produc.../software/ and get their DVR and 14 days of richer meta data.

Also if you missed it the zip file is multi-platform so Window users have to remove HDHRGuide.runtimeconfig.json after unzippig.

I have attempted to use this script but I can not get it to create a xml file. I have a HDHomerun with 4 tuners. I removed the json file and installed in the directories specified the dos box comes up and things flash on it but it exits to fast to read. I am getting over theair epg but thats very limited.

User run or terminal to open a command prompt winddow and then

CD "C:\Program Files\NextPVR"

HDHRGuide.exe C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\hdhomerun.xml

If that fails with a 400 then it is possible your system clock is a little ahead and you can fix the time or just grab two days.

That created the xml. Do I need to change something in the update epg bat file from what you had on the first post?

I don't know did you get the 400 and have to use the --days option?

no it just ran and created the xml file. The command box stayed on showing the actions it made which is how it worked before my drive crashed and I had to reformat and reinstall.

I know the server can return error 400 if you try to grab too many in the future even if it is one second. I don't understand what the problem is now or how this relates to your drive crashing though.

The terminal/command windows won't close on its own you need to close it or type exit that won't matter if you are running UpdateEpg.bat though.
