Hello Sub,
There are many "flavors" of clients out there and I have tried them all in Linux and Windows. Everyone has their "flavor." For me, I LIKE the Windows NextPVR client...please note that I am not using or referring to the browser GUI.
The Windows NextPVR client is working very well for me. I like its straightforward structure and simplicity for my OTA live TV viewing and recordings. I have no need to use any other server and client. Now; currently I am using NextPVR version 7.0.2.250621 on Windows 10 21H2 build 19044.
Have have NO errors or complications. Therefore, no need to include log files. All is operational.
I have have also completed the NextPVR key mapping to a TV remote using Flirc. That combination is working quite well with the Windows NextPVR client. I even have a key assigned with {CTRL}X to turn on/off Closed Captions (CC). That is working very well too.
As with few other members I need hearing aids but there are times I like to use CC. CC displays ok when it is enabled except the font is a little pixelly even with 40" 1080P TV.
CC is operating well...no errors while operating within the NextPVR Windows clien
Prior to this post I have spent many hours searching, reading the forum(s) & other resources trying to find any subject matter that provides an answer to my questions regarding "control" of CC's "appearance while watching Live TV. I don't have any problems in using it.
What I need to know is how to "control" some fundamental characteristics of CC.
Windows "Ease of Access" & associated CC controls HAVE NO bearing on NextPVR client. Please note that "Teletext" settings in Config.xml has no impact as well. I figured it would not but had to try.
I am in USA.
My questions are: [if...then..else process
]
1st...the most important question...is it possible?
If it is not, then the remaining questions then thank you for providing an answer.
If so, could you direct me to as how & where....
Change the font size, color, type?
Change background color?
Change transparency?
Change Location on TV screen? ....i.e:
--Upper center, left, right
--Middle center, left, right
--Bottom center, left, right.
Sub, if can provide any insight, I would greatly appreciate it.
