I recently installed nextpvr on my Windows 11 laptop.  I also installed Wintv v10 for my 
Hauppauge TV tuner (connected to a digital antenna).  Nextpvr correctly detected the tuner and I was able to scan for channels.  I am also a subscriber of schedules direct and entered that information in the settings.  It appeared to work and I saw a schedule of programs listed in the TV Guide tab.  However, when I tried to watch a program, it didn't work - just got a message to wait.  Also tried to record a program.  It appeared to accept the order, but didn't work.  When I checked later, there was a message that the recording failed.

I would appreciate any ideas on what I should check.  Thanks in advance.

sorry about that.  I've attached the logs.  I tried to record on 1/27/26 around 2:30 pm.  I tried to view live just before or after that.

The biggest problem is one of our tuners arent working right now and you need to reinstall the Hauppauge drivers, sometimes a Windows update can do that.

From what I see tuner 1 is working and recording, there was a recording on the 27th. However you haven't mapped tuner 1 properly so it doesn't have the same channels as tuner 2. It is best to get the channels on one tuner working and then use the copy feature for the second tuner.

When you scan in the US and Canada no need to scan all 60 channels, use 2-36 the other frequencies were auctioned for mobile.

There were issues in v7 with the OTA updates so your best bet is not to map any ATSC or apply the patches here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=66669. I am hoping sub will have time to update 7.0.5 soon it has those patches and more.

Regardless I'd restart the PC to see if it picks up the tuner.

Thanks so much.  I am making progress, but not quite there.

I decided to start from scratch and uninstalled nextpvr.  Then I updated Windows and reinstalled nextpvr.  It saw my Hauppage dual tuner and I scanned for channels.  I also entered my login data for schedules direct.

It seemed to work and I saw today's program listings in the TV Guide window.  I was able to live view a program.  I also recorded a program. 

However, when I looked at the next day on TV Guide, only 2 channels had listings.  For the rest of the week, there were no listings at all.  I manually updated the epg.  It seemed to work - took several minutes, but made no difference.  I then restarted my laptop, updated the epg again - but still no difference.  I would appreciate any suggestions to try.

You have 38:channels mapped to OTA not Schedules Direct correcting that will help your guide data. Go to Settings Channels and Tools and automap to None the automap to SD.

You wasted time reinstalling though, that won't solve any Hauppauge driver issues.
