I finally had to abandoned SnapStream's Beyond TV after building new HTPC with Windows 11.  And truthfully, after testing Nextpvr I am glad of it.  Really like the ease of setup and great features.  I need some help trying to delete .ts file from the video section.  I have several over-the-air .ts files recorded from Beyond TV that is in the Nextpvr video folder.  Nextpvr displays them all in a list and I can click to watch I just can not delete them.  Popup message says access is denied.  I am sure there is some setting I am overlooking.  Any help or suggestions from members would be much appreciated.

Rather than the videos section you can import your BTV files as NextPVR recordings if you'd like using the NextTool utility.

What you are overlooking is sending the logs. https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-help

Thanks for suggestion, and being gentle when failing to follow posting rules.  I took a look at NextTool and unsure if the effort to learn the needed task for a one time import of about 20 .ts files would be worth it.  I am still hoping for a fix giving me the ability to delete .ts files in the video folder. I have attached my Nextpvr program logs.  Haven't installed Kodi so no logs to provide.

How are you trying to delete, I cant's see any errors. Is that a key on an old BTV remote?

I just did a test with Video Library and the way I know (hit the home key to open the hidden menu and select delete worked for me. Ctrl-K also works.

I have no problem deleting files using windows explorer, however access is denied when trying to delete a file from within the NextPVR interface.  It's possible the log file did not reflect my issue because I created the log after a computer restart.  I have generated another log immediately after trying to delete a file from within NextPVR.  Again I was presented with accessed denied.  Thanks for your help.

OK I think I have figured out that this error isn't logged correctly all we see is

2026-01-30 12:03:49.080 [DEBUG][1] skin file? C:\Program Files\NextPVR\data\skin\Default\Popups\MessageBox.xml

Is it possible that the message is correct? Is D: or the file you are trying to delete read only or on a share?

Now help me find a place to stick my head in the sand!  From file explorer I navigated to the folder, right clicked, select properties, and cleared the box next to Read-only (only applies to files in folder).  Restarted NextPVR and repeated the delete process and BANG, file was gone.  What can I say but thank you very much for sticking with me on getting this issue, (actually educating me) resolved.

Nor problem, maybe that was a BTV safety feature.
