I suggest resetting the configuration by deleting yauclient.json from your home folder and trying again, perhaps your server IP changed. If that fails reinstall and in the setup make sure you recrate the shortcut.

Martin, I'm checking out yauiclient. Before doing anything else, I launched NextPVR.exe on my OTA test machine and made sure I was getting a signal. Then I downloaded and installed yauiclient, and was pleased to see that the channel lineup and recorded programs from NPVR were there.

However, after trying the closed-captioning and looking at a few other settings, then closing yauiclient, I launched NextPVR.exe anew to compare some features -- but now NextPVR.exe is no longer displaying live TV. The UI loads just fine and I can view the EPG and see the list of recorded programs, but I can't watch live programming either by selecting a channel on the EPG or by clicking on Live TV. Getting an error message after 20 seconds that says, "The request was aborted: the operation has timed out." It's as if yauiclient is taking over the tuner and preventing NextPVR from using it. Is this known/intended behavior?

Thanks for any insights/suggestions.

No it doesn't but if you exit early with video playing rather shutting down there is a 15 second windows like with the web server. Only way to tell is with the logs.

Honestly though yauiclient 3 is a big upgraded to 2 especially for speed.

After a couple of hours, just tried NextPVR.exe again on the OTA system where I installed yauiclient. Still no dice, live TV won't play. The PC might need a reboot.

I downloaded yauiclient from GitHub today, so I'm assuming it's the most recent version.

In case this is related, I noticed that yauiclient, too, is now taking quite a long time (1m45s) to start playing live TV. Maybe NPVR is different in that doesn't wait as long to give the error message about not picking up the signal. In any event, I don't remember either client taking so long to pick up the signal the first time I launched each of them today. I may open a new thread (in the correct sub-forum) for the OTA NPVR that's not playing live TV. With logs attached, of course.
