Upgrading to 7.0.5 appears to have broken the ability to scan for channels on my SATIP server. The scan proceeds through all the muxes on 28.2E but zero channels are found. Previous versions did find channels and a test downgrade to 7.0.1.xxx (docker pull nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64:prerelease, all other container parameters unchanged) also finds channels as expected.

Logs are attached from immediately after the channel scan.

As an aside would it be possible to have the previous version kept on Docker Hub for reversion purposes.

Could you try a smaller file with just a couple of frequencies. There is too much log spam.

I cancelled after four muxes (2 of which have major BBC channels on them). Will that work?
New log attached.

I can duplicate the issue, I will focus on the first two BBC frequencies but I may need sub's help

@sub
Thank you that works and a channel scan is now returning channels.
However, from the channels being returned suggest that the scan tables being used are out of date.

Is the recommended approach to replace them with the current lists from

https://linuxtv.org/downloads/dtv-scan-tables/

My docker image has nothing in /usr/share/dvb/dvb-s. /usr/share/dvb/dvb-legacy/dvb-s is populated but the files are a different format to those downloaded from linuxtv.org.

My understanding is that http://satellites-xml.org/ also has current scan tables (from the Enigma2 world) generated on demand.

SAT>IP uses the Windows scanning files.  Here is a current one based on lyngsat today from a python script I have.  On Docker this should be in /app/data/tuning/DVB-S

As you know I am working away on a process to automate DVB-S in the UK.

Thank you Martin for that, it is much better.

Indeed, and that will be game changing for the UK (and I think some other European countries); mux changes are not frequent but they do happen.

I've mapped /app/data/tuning/DVB-S to a host path to make it easier for me to have a play around.

Cheers

Eric
