I don't need the log file since I gave you the wrong deb file. The yauiclient.log will be in ~/.yauiclient/yauiclient.log on Linux..

The NShared.dll goes in /opt/nextpvr/system and you need to restart the service.

The new .deb file works with x11.  I also installed the patch as you said. It replaced the .dll that was already there. I ran the app and didn't notice any change in the UI because I checked it out
before and after I installed the patch. I am running the lateast version of NPVR  Version: 7.0.5.260307. Maybe this version already has the patch in it.
Love the full size thumbnails! Even works on live TV. A few things though, no right click menu and very few keyboard shortcuts. You have up/down arrows for channel selection and the left/right keys for FF and REW seek.
To go fullscreen you need to use F11 and either F11 or ESC to exit full screen. Could not change deinterlace on or off by the keyboard, had to change the .json file in the home folder to toggle it on or off. Also had to bump up the
resolution up from 720 to 1080. I will continue to check things out when I have some more time.
Overall I am impressed, just what I needed to replace that clunky Kodi flatpack app. Nice work!

First send your NextPVR logs I'd like to see why the speed wasn't noticeably better.

- if you want full screen you don't have to force it in yauiclient.json the standard alt-enter should toggle too. F11 might just be maximize.
- there shouldn't be thumbnails on Live TV but they are there in-progress which you might have seen.
- there has never been a right click menu in UI clients.
- there are lots of keyboard shortcuts most of the standard NextPVR keys should work https://github.com/emveepee/Testing/wiki...dReference
- some yauiclient specific keys include d deinterlace, m mute a aspect ration p panscan h hide title bar i video info
- for subtitles and audio the standard ctrl-e and ctrl-x work but I found the alt-g and alt r that bypass the server faster.
- the alt keys do map to colours so that would be green and red on certain remotes. There is alt-y (yellow) for deinterlacing too and alt b for aspect.
- remote with channel up/down keys work, but I don't recall if I test but check numpad add/subtract for for changing channels (why anyone still does that is beyond me)
- however if you need to toggle deinterlacing off for your performance we might need to tweak your h/w. By default it is automatic no on.
- the resolution is only GUI resolution, video still should plays at the normal monitor resolution.

Been a while since I've been on Windows and used yauiclient v2. Forgot about the keymaps. Tried a few and worked as expected. F11 does fullscreen, not maximize at least on my system. Alt Enter works as well for fullscreen.
You're right about the thumbnails, played a recording and the thumbnails appear higher up on the screen instead of just above the control bar as in V2. The in progress is great during live TV, something Kodi was bad at.
I swore there was a right click option, must have confused it with another app, my bad.  I'll send you the logs. Which one do you want? Seems like every time you open the app it generates a new log file, ie. yauiclient.log, yauicleint.log.1, yauiclient.log.2 and so on.

I don't need the yauiclient logs just the server. Send the zipped logs from the web setting folder. If it is more than 2MB it needs to be an external link.

Had to re-image my PC last night, new SSD install, so the log file will probably show a fresh install this  morning. Image does not have NPVR on it.

Thanks that doesn't look like the new NShared.dll at all there is normally a lot of log spam I have for debugging the new mode. The client side is ok. Does the file have the April 1 date and did you restart the server when you installed it

Thinking about it the changes may actually be in another file. If you want to try the beta of 7.0.6 you can try that just let me know.

The file does show the date as 04-01-2026. Did restart the server via terminal but also have a few system reboots before I sent you that log.
