I have been locked out of Schedules Direct.

The error is...

Schedules Direct [Exceeded maximum number of unique IP addresses in 24 hours. Please contact Schedules Direct support: service@schedulesdirect.org for more information or create a support ticket: https://www.schedulesdirect.org/lineupsupport (not active)]

I can see that my VPN is changing server IP addresses (I am looking into this).

I have the NextPVR set to request updated schedules once a day.

Does NextPVR regularly "ping" schedules direct even if it is not requesting an update?

Just wondering why SD saw too many IP address changes.

Thanks,
Kevin

Contact SD as indicated for sure it is your VPN. NextPVR doesn't regularly ping but every time you look for art it will contact SD.

Thanks Martin.

It is supposedly reset now by SD.  You can source from 5 distinct IP addresses in a 24 hour period.

I did a stop/start of the NextPVR server but I am getting the same error message.

Do you know if I have to deleted the SD lineup and re-enter it?

Cheers,
Kevin

No the lineup should be fine, but you might need to restart the server it doesn't ping. Are you using a current version of NextPVR

Also five IPS is not many using a VPN, it is not a persistent connection, they need a permanent fix for you if they simply resent it

Martin,
I am up to date with  Version: 7.1.1.260616

When you say " but you might need to restart the server it doesn't ping"

I assume this is the NextPVR server.  I did initiate a stop and start of the server.  I'll try again.

I also turned off (temporarily) artwork from SD to reduce the number of requests.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Kevin

OK then if it immediately came back as blocked you need to talk to SD. They can work around the VPN disabling artwork is not really a fix.

I am still having problems with this.

SD shows that NextPVR is accessing it multiple times with different IP addresses from my VPN.

I thought I had disabled artwork from SD but it was on when I checked today.

I see another place in the config file for SD...

<PreferArtFromSchedulesDirect>true</PreferArtFromSchedulesDirect>

I am going to set this to false.

Is there any way I can prevent NextPVR from accessing SD outside the time I have set to fetch new guide data?

Thanks for any thought you may have.

Did you contact SD to get them to fix your account?

I have contacted SD.

They keep telling me that I have exceeded the number of IP addresses.

I have asked if they can increase the number of IP addresses in a 24 hour period.

I also asked if there are other work arounds.

I am not getting great help from them.

As a workaround, is it possible to download SD data locally?  I can then point NextPVR to the file.

On the forum or the support link? Robert is pretty good.

Do you leave the server on 24/7? Every time you start it it logs in.

Martin.
