I have been using your "New Client" for very many years as my default Nextpvr client. A few weeks ago there was an update which added a new startup screen listing "New recordings", Recordings" & "Upcoming". Unfortunately the writing a bit too small to read at my normal viewing distance. It also added a "Channels" menu option which I have no use for.

No mention of the update on the Web page to v 2.10.1. I dont think there has been an actual update for quite a few years as it just works OK!

Nothing to do with KNEWC (which is no longer supported)

Typically with modern UI you primarily use the poster not the text to identify shows much like channel icons.

- You can go back to the old style home screen by editing config.xml to yse <PreferredMenuStyle2>SlideOutClassic</PreferredMenuStyle2>
- I love the new channels screen and use it daily. To disable it also in config.xml <MenuItem enabled="false">Channels</MenuItem>

A big thankyou for that Martin. All back to original menu! I had forgotten about the MenuItem in config.xml as its years since I changed settings!
I still use it for my default client even if its no longer supported.
I will give your new client a test if there is a version which runs LibreElec!

There hasn't been any interest in yauiclient for LE but it is working well for me. I probably will build it again for testing on LE 12 myself (both flavours) with some newer source code.
