Guide data no longer updating after updating

A week ago I upgraded from a V6.x to V7.1.260616. It was working fine for a week but now I have no guide data as of 10am this morning. I'm guessing it was running off the guide data that was downloaded prior to the upgrade and that ran out.

It appears that it just no longer updates. A manual update does nothing, and I haven't changed anything else.

It should be pulling the guide data from the HDHomeRun tuner.

EPG sources shows a "Silicon Dust EPG" and below it DVB/ATSC EPG. I can't delete the Silion Dust EPG, delete butotn does nothing.

If I look under channels I can see all channels are mapped to the DVB/ATSC EPG.

I've tried all the usual stuff, reboots, service restarts, manual EPG updates etc.

Playback is fine.

Send your zipped NextPVR logs and we can have a look. If they are mapped to DVB/ATSC don't worry about the Silicondust option.

Just to add I just ran another manual update and this time it completed quickly after a couple of channels with the result:

The posted logs might be stale but they show you stopping the service during the EPG scan.

The posted logs  might be stale but they show you stopping the service during the EPG scan.

I hit empty EPG and then update EPG straight after which sounds like it may have caused that problem with the logs.

I let it fully run this time and it ran through each channel (spent 60 secs per channel) with the follow result:
EPG Update complete. [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]

Updated logs are attached.

One of your next scans was while you were using the device for Live TV, that caused some issues.

If you can to http://192.168.0.15 can you check the logs to see if it is locking on channels while it does the scan starting around 22:12.


If it look we might need to do an manual capture so we can test

Ran the manual capture as requested - tuned tuner0 to 578500000 (ABC multiplex), confirmed lock (tsid=0x0223, onid=0x1010, all ABC subchannels enumerated correctly), then captured ~60s via save /tuner0 fullmux.ts. Capture completed clean: 219,392 packets received, 0 overflow/network/transport/sequence errors.

I am checking to see if there was a change with Silicondust  https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/view...10#p409010  It works with the change I mentioned.

I did some more testing and it appears the auto mode might be based on your channelmap. When if force au-bcast auto works.

If your tuners is au-bcast then the most likely problem is you aren't letting UDP ports through your firewall.

Which firewall - the one running on the NextPVR server or the firewall on my gateway?

I haven't changed any Firewall settings the only thing I changed the week prior is upgrading from NextPVR v6.x to 7.x and a week later my guide data ran out.

Is there a way to revert to the old version without losing my data as it's been working for 5+ years without issue.

Also, I temporarily disabled the firewall on my NextPVR machine and ran an EPG update and so far still no guide data.
