Beats me what you're doing wrong. Almost sounds like the clock on your computer is one day off?

The suggested change from blader_se might a problem you haven't come across yet. Sometimes the EPG data changes from the first time you download it. Say, for example, that TV3 has a show on Saturday, from 10.00 to 10.30. Then, on thursday, they move it to 10.05 - 10.35. This will, without blader's addition, make you have to entries in your EPG, one from 10 to 10.30, and one from 10.05 to 10.35. With blader_se's addition, the first one would be removed, and you would only see the correct one in the EPG. What I am unsure about is what happens if you had already scheduled the first one to be recorded...

blader_se Wrote:If a show is moved, you will end up with an extra entry, so a suggestion is to use a download.bat that is invoked by the Windows scheduler, containing
Code:
o2grabber -grab
gbpvr -onlyemptyepg
gbpvr -onlyupdateepg
Hmm, I guess you could do that from UpdateEPG.bat as well...Smile
I'm curious - would you need to call "gbpvr -onlyupdateepg"? As this is in UpdateEPG.bat surely that will be done when the batch file has finished?

An alternative is TVxb, it covers a lot of countries. Has been very useful to me. As I grab it from different websites. Fairly simple to use once you figure it out although does not have a GUI.

Let us know your findings, but be quick before sub comes along and tells us what's really going on ;-)

Probably, but I was refering to it as contained in a Windows scheduled update.bat file...

Just tried -onlyemptyepg and -onlyupdateepg parms. -onlyemptyepg removes everything on guide except future scheduled recordings, thus your guide would look like a big hole with a lot of red spots. -onlyupdateepg puts in the new epg. I think this would be a problem for schedules that are frequently changed since the original recording schedule was never removed.

But at least with these 2 parms, I was finally able to flush and clean my EPG.

Perhaps we should wish for a -onlyRemoveScheduledRecordings option to GBPVR?
