The audio will distort after watch live TV for a period of time ranging from a few minutes to about an hour on the web interface of NextPVR on Chromium browser. Tried to ask ChatGPT for help to fix this issue and drew a conclusion that the issue may be caused by the interaction of NextPVR web interface and Chromium browsers. I reckon ChatGPT generated a better bug report than me?. Follow is the bug report generated by ChatGPT>
Environment
NextPVR Version
Problem
When watching Live TV or recordings using the NextPVR web interface in Chromium-based browsers, the audio eventually becomes robotic/distorted.
The time before the problem appears is random. Sometimes it takes only a few minutes, sometimes much longer.
The video continues to play normally while only the audio becomes distorted.
What I have tested
The issue occurs on:
Troubleshooting performed
I have tried the following without success:
Additional testing
To rule out a hardware or Windows-specific problem, I tested a second Windows 11 PC with completely different hardware:
PC #1
Additional information
I have screen captured a 10 second distorted audio video. Can upload it if needed.
I collected a Chromium media-internals log and a Network trace while troubleshooting.
I don't know how to interpret these logs, but I'm happy to upload them if they would be useful.
Question
Could you please advise what additional information or logs would help diagnose this issue?
I'd be happy to perform further testing if needed.
