Channel 9 (Brisbane, Australia) issue

Hi, I'm new to IPTV and I've just setup nextpvr on a Synology DS218+.

All is working well except for channel 9 and 9GEM. They give me "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)" when viewed on a Windows 11 PC and similar on an Apple TV 4k.

I tried nextpvr on the Windows pc, the streams load but then hang. I have a good internet connection (500\50).

I'm using Matt Huisman's raw m3u8 files.

I've tried the different transcoders in nextpvr.

Any advice gratefully received.

Send your zipped server logs and we will have a look. Those URL's need ffmpeg

Hi Martin,

thanks for your prompt reply.
I stopped the docker, deleted the old logs and then restarted it, so hopefully these only contain relevant info.

Logs attached including the web/temp ones. 9 and 9Gem failed, 9Go! worked.

I missed your second post with the single logs that did have enough information. The logs confirm that the Channel 9 Go channel is using the same command line as the failing lines so ffmpeg (or the source) is causing the issue. These URLs are geo-locked so they can't be tested, but there is a change in the command line in the next update and when I play Channel 9 i does play a VPN error video.

So I guess I need to wait for the next release? Any idea when that might be?

Fyi, I tried Kodi with the simple IPTV client on my Windows PC and channel 9 worked.

I just noticed the thread "IPTV AU Channel 9 channels not working" in the Docker amd64 sub forum.

There was a comment from sub "Try this updated NShared.dll when you get a chance. Replace the existing file of the same name."

I ended up trying the prerelease docker image and the channel 9 issue is fixed.
