Is there anyone with a broadband connection, that could temporarily allow me remote access to a machine with a PVR150 or PVR500 in it? Either VNC or Remote Desktop would be fine. I'd need GraphEdit, but I'm happy to supply it if its not already on the machine.

I'd only need about a half an hour for a short experiement.

Thanks in advance.

You can have mine.
PM me, and I'll give you the VNC login/pass.
Gotta get GraphEdit on here too.
PVR-500.

I'd be glad to let you use my machine. I have installed tightvnc but never had reason to use it. Will this work?

I'm in the states with a pvr-150 on an athlon 64 box.

Thanks!

Yeah, tightvnc should be fine. PM me the connection details, and let me know if you have a preference when I do this. As I said, it'll only require about half an hour - could be 5 minutes if everything goes smoothly.

Oops, didnt see Reboot's offer.

Either one would be fine. First available machine would be good. I like to 'strike while the iron is hot', otherwise my swiss cheese memory will forget about it entirely...

I don't really know what I'm doing to get vnc to work. I had planned to use it between two of my machines here but never finished getting it working. You might have to walk m,e thru some details. Reboot may be a simpler solution if he is already familiar with program.

I may have to back out.
I can't get VNC to work through the router, even with the IP in the DMZ!
