Just want to start with this is a great program.. The nicest PVR I've found..

But I'm having a few issues..

I seem to configure GB-PVR it works then I power off the PC, come back to it later and GB-PVR starts create errors..

I've attached a screen shot and a zip with all my logs..

TV Card Medion 7134 Hybrid (DVB-T, FM Radio & Analogue)
This is on a 'clean' install of XP Pro SP2 fully updated from Windows Update.
I also have PowerDVD installed.

Any help Please Smile

What MPEG2 decoder are you using? One of the logs looks like it cant find one.

Other than that, there are a few other bizarre errors listed, but I dont know what caused them.

I have a Nvidia MPEG2 Decorder installed.

I have also installed Power Cinema 4 and Power DVD thinking this would install a Cyberlink Mpeg 2 decorder.

They both work fine, but using the windows Mpeg detector doesn't show them.. only the Nvidia..

I can run pretty much any other DVB-T app and they work fine.. But none are as smooth as this !

Any thing else I should try ?

What exactly does this mean? Are you saying it wont work after hibernation, or something else?

If I manage to configure it now so I get no errors and it loads fine, GBPVR will work fine.

But the next time I start my PC GBPVR crashes again..

What is the error I get, shown in the jpg I attached ??

According to your log, its caused by failures as GB-PVR is attempting to use the DVR-MS components on your machine. I've not seen this error before, so I dont really know what would be causing it. Maybe try switching to using the Cyberlink mux instead of the DVR-MS one.

I seem to have this working sort of..
I have PowerCinema 4 & PowerDVD installed.
I also have Nvidia MPEG2 Decoder installed.

None of these showed up with the MS Windows decoder detector..

I downloaded K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and allowed that to install all the files and selected the option to check for codec errors etc.

Since then I can now see the MPEG2 decoders in the Decoder checker and GB-PVR starts, but is VERY (30 seconds +) slow launching Live TV...

Using your BDA Mux Checker I can only see one Mux, and that is one I manualy registered..

I have tried opening the lastgraph.grf and this works fine, showing the TV very fast.

I've attached the lasts logs.. Any Ideas ? ? ?

According your logs Directshow is taking a very long time for Windows to render the graph. This is typically caused by Directshow trying to use an inappropriate filter first, which takes a long time to fail, before finally picking the right filter. Its not very easy to debug these sorts of problems. The only thing you can really do is start removing filters/decoders until the problem one is removed and it gets much faster. As a first step you might want to try explicily selecting audio and video decoders and renders on the playback tab of the config app.

I had the Software MPEG2 Playback set to 'Overlay Manager'
Since changing it to VMR9, things has speeded up a bit !!

Video Decoder: Cyberlink Video /SP
Audio Decoder & renderer: Default

seems to be Ok at the moment Smile
