If you happen to be using the original music library (not likely), then you can just click on the little visualization window which appears as soon as you start playing music, and it'll switch to fullscreen.

I am using the original music library right now, but it's a bit difficult to click on the visualization window using a remote Wink I just tried it through vnc, and it looks nice though!

Hi,

I'm currently seeing only a couple of issues with GB-PVR 9511. If anyone could shed some light on these ones, i'd appreciate it.

- xVid encoding works great - except i can't playback the new .avi's through the recordings interface. Apparently, GB-PVR is trying to use my mpeg-2 decoder to display the xVid. Is this normal?

- Music library audio playback comes out through the system default audio device, not my SPDIF device. Nothing i change seems to change that.

Thanks for any help,

jason

I can't get XviD encoding to work at all.
I've tried various versions of xvid, with no results.
Can't even click on the Settings button (it's greyed out) in config.
WMV works.

Sub, I missed this one during testing. I meant to mention it before. I reread all 16 pages of this and I don't see any other comments on it.

If you schedule a manual recording, it doesn't mark the time as red in the TV Guide, like scheduled shows do. If I pick a show in that timeslot, I do get a conflict warning with "Manually Scheduled..." and the shows do record.

What makes you think its doing that? Can you post your gbpvr.exe-native.log?

There is no stuff built into GB-PVR for this. This is typically configured outside of GB-PVR, and depends on the capabilities of the software that configures your sound device, or other third party software you've go installed. Some sound devices can be configured to send everything out the SPDIF. Some you need to use software like AC3Filter, or ffdshow audio, to convert everything into a format compatible with SPDIF. There has been some discussion in the past on how to configure this.

The settings button should be greyed out for xvid at the moment (may reenable in a later release). The quality settings are configured manually in the profiles listed in config.xml for now. I ran out of time to do much else.

Can you set it to convert to xvid "ASAP", then do a test recording, then post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log so I can take a look?

I think I have an idea.
I have ShowAnalyzer running on the file as it's recording, then PostProcessing.bat has renamerecordings.
I think one of those two is messing with the conversions.
