Yes, rename recordings seems to be causing the problem.

Well, so much for conversions then Big Grin No matter, I have the hard drive space.
Thanks for looking into this so quickly. I can't imagine you've had much sleep in the past 2 days Wink

You could move your post processing stuff into PostConversion.bat if you need to.

How many days do people keep on the EPG? I usually max out to 15, but the new version seems to take forever to process the data. This is using Zap2it as the data source.

Hmmm; managed to get it to do 10 days; guess I'll try 14 and see if that ever finishes.

Sub; would it be possible to add some kind of progress indicator to the EPG update?

Keep in mind that many of the new EPG features sub implemented this time around require GBPVR to request more data from zap2it than previous versions, therefore causing the additional delay in EPG updates.

Thanks for the great work sub. Most everything seems to be working but when I exit a recording playback or a video play I get a box popping up with "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.". It also plays video badly on the computer screen but seems 'normal' via mvp. By badly I mean quite fuzzy with a some loss of contrast. Same vids palyed with WMP are great. The videos also have small hesitations e.g.when panning or zooming that don't seem to be there using MVP (weird). GBPVR.EXE runs at 17-25% cpu during vid play.

I use the blue skin and std video plugin. TIA.

Lindsay: It sounds like you would benefit from trying a different video decoder on your computer. The MVP uses hardware decoding, hence the difference from when viewing on the computer. The reason why WMP plays back better than GBPVR is most probably because it uses a different decoder. Try changing the decoder (in the config app of GBPVR).

Thanks, Stefan, what you say makes good sense and clarifies things somewhat. My decoder setting was set to default but I tried the two other options of Nero Video Decoder and Intervideo NonCSS Video and I couldn't see any difference. I am not too clued up about decoders so maybe I need to learn fast!

Hm, i think there's another bug @ 95.11. I had no problems with 94.13 at controlling the Volume with my Hauppauge 45-Button Remote.

In Version 95.11 this doesn't work right! I can without problems lower the Volume within gb-pvr, but raising isn't possible! I have to start the Windows-Mixer manually and raise there the Switch for the Wave-Control.

Why does this happens? I even find out, that if the Volume is lowered to minimum @ gbpvr and i press more often the button for lowering @ remote, that the sound is sometimes back at full strength...

Something strange is going on... *g* First my disapeared Videotext, now the Volume...

Sub, help *g*
