Here goes..

What is the usage of the gettheaterlistings application? I try to run it, feeding it my area code (319) like this:

gettheaterlistings 319

And it tells me "Invalid area code".

Can anyone advise and tell me what I'm doing wrong, and what I need to do to make it work?

Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see the topic already started about this. I get the same error message using my zip code instead of my area code... Still looking for suggestions! [Image: smile.gif]

EDIT 2: I solved my own problem... Apparently there are no theater listings for my area! Is there anything I can do about this?

Currently no.  It uses fandango for the theater listings, if it is not listing any theaters for your area you can try another local zip it might overlap.

What is your zip code? Do you see anything if you log into fandango?

My ZIP is 50677. The local theater shows up, oddly enough...
I guess I don't know much about your plugin. Do I require Fandango membership to make it work right? I can pull listings for other larger areas using your app with no trouble..

Where does it save its xml listing to? Or is that something that has to be specified somehow?

Thanks!

EDIT: I figured out the location of theaters.xml... Do I ever need some sleep!
Looking at the format of the XML file, it shouldn't be too hard for me to write my own script/app to pull HTML from my local theater website to make listings... I'd rather not do something so source-specific if I don't have to though.
