When I am trying to set the genre color in the TV Guide, it only seems to show for the first genre of a particular show. So, for shows that have mulitple genres associated with them, the only color that shows is if a color is set for the first genre. ie. If a show has (Action, Adventure, Movie) as its genres, the only color that will show is for Action. I only want to specify a color for movies (not too worried about the type), but if I only set a color for the Movie genre it does not show up.

Is there a way to make it ignore the first genres, but only use the movie genre? Is this because the color is already set to 00000000?

It should be doing this already, but I'll double check.

When a new release comes out, where should I be looking for details on how the new features work? For instance, by reading this thread, I stumbled across the 1 + F11 method to enable the popup to adjust the video.

Does this popup change the parameters only for the playback in progress or are the changes permanent? Do they modify (offsets) to the settings in the Windows device settings?

Sub,

A couple of observations...

1) When navigating in XGuide (arrow up/down, arrow left/right) the screen only shows the background for a second and then repaints with information.

2) When entering XRecord only the background shows until I hit a navigation button (arrow) then everything paints and is fine after that.

Not sure if it means anything but figured I'd post since I never noticed it in past releases...

Perhaps the web interface 'cancel' should obey the rules of the config setting and either delete it or ask to confirm if you want to delete (based on the settings). It might be helpful to change the wording from 'Cancel' to 'Delete' if the recording has already completed.

I had already made this request in the Web Admin thread a while back. I think it was accepted as a good idea and they were going to add it, but there hasn't been a release since then. You are right, the word cancel doens't make much sense for a recording that's already completed.

Thanks, Sub, for the updates. Everything seems to be working fine on my upgrade. I did notice one minor thing though -- purely cosmetic. When in Recordings, if I go to the detailed view where it lists the Play, Delete, Exit, etc. buttons, the buttons all overlap each other's borders. Meaning, when you highlight the button, you cannot see the bottom border because it's overlapped by the button below it. Is there a way to change this in the skin? I didn't see a way to change it in the default Blue skin, which is what I use (a slightly customized version of it). Is there an easy way to space those buttons out?

Sorry for the picky "complaint". You have to understand that more than anything, it's a WAF issue (she noticed it before I did, which is never a good thing).

Oh, one more thing to note -- my MVPs are working better than ever. The usual dropoffs (especially when navigating around the menus) are GONE. I even tried to get it screw up and couldn't! I used to have to avoid using the Back button on the MVP remote (always had to use Main), used to avoid using channel up/down when viewing LiveTV, and actually I used to avoid using LiveTV whenever possible because that used to eventually lead to the connection dropping off. MVP users should be very pleased with this release!

GBPVR system info intentionally left blank because I'm personally
insulted that you can't remember it from previous signatures.

I saw you other post that mentioned this, but I dont understand why you'd have any overlap. Is this the buttons you're talking about? I dont have any overlap.

@sub

yet another problem now:

After upgrading from 94.13 to 95.11 i am not able to delete a sheduled recording! I scheduled a serie to recording to be recorded every day at same day. But since V95.11 i get only "failed" Informations and nothing is recorded. Not only that, i can't delete the schedulings within gbpvr.

Mine are recording just fine. I'm also not having any problems deleting.

Do you get any error in your logs?

I'm having the sound issue as well and the HKEY did not fix. Where can I download a previous version until the updat comes out?

Thanks.
