Selectable conversions

I like the encoding to divx/wmv option but would like to be able to select shows to encode manually

I record some shows that I just watch and then delete, some shows that I keep and some movies that I record to dvd. for all but the movies I'd like to be able to select encode to wmv and left the movies intact.

I have been having the same thoughts. I used to use ShowShifter which had this feature and I found it very useful. Would be good to be able to select the recording, then schedule for transcoding with divx/wmv etc.
