My turn.

I've just spent the past 30 -45 minutes reading through all these posts. So I'll put in my 10c (we've already got rid of 1c and 2c over here, and about to get rid of the 5c - so it seemed apt).....any way enough drivel.

I've had a look through a lot of the images that have been posted here, and an underlying theme I seem to see, is dark colours, or really vibrant backgrounds, it may be just my personal taste, but i think that the bright simple skins look the best and are easiest to navigate since your eye is not pulled away from the actual content.

Tourque had one of the best ones here (IMO) in #378

Again is was a bit dark for my liking but it was nice and simple. And colours are pretty easy to change.

Some of these horzontal ideas are good, because even in some of my plugins I've been looking for a bit of "horizontal action".

One thing I find is i pretty much write all of my plugins for the BlueMCE skin, and then try and port it back to blue for all the other users, but i have noticed that pretty much all the developers have their own way of structuring things...so maybe in this some guidelines, or some more common elements need to be developed, because I imagine it's pretty hard for some skin developers when seeing a new plugin to figure out how it works.

.....maybe that was 20c??

Torque has my vote too, awsome skin, very nice!

I'm looking forward to the release.

I like Torque's skin as well. Plenty of buttons without having to scroll and lots of info on the main menu.

Torque - when could we down load this as a skin to use now?

I have it just about ready. I've moved a few things inward to account for overscan. I don't use an MVP so I have no idea if it'll work with one... someone should post the MVP skinning requirements so we'll all know what's needed.

I'll post a topic in the community announcement section probably later today with a download for those that would like to try it.

The nice thing is with your skin, if there is any overscan, it won't affect anything, there is not any curves at the edges. Also with the MVP, you 'should' be able to setup your screen so there isn't any overscan, at most 3 pixels, since the adjustments are in multiples of 4. (I think)
3x MVPs (not used anymore)

Torque seems to have the majority but I'll be looking forward to that one!
