Nah, not so bad/important. For sure this was good work for user with DVB-Technologies ;-)

Quote:I might play with clearing out my epg entirely and recreating the capture source since I have about 8 bogus channels accumulated, and it might be a good time to start fresh.
It might actually perform better if you have the 'complete epg reload' option set, since it does not have to do as many show comparisions.

Hi Sub, great work !!! I just have 2 things which are not really solved good :

1.

When i have activate the animation of the task pictures, sometime it happens
when i switch into a submenu, it just flashed on for a second and then the
mainmenu is back (but it`s only a cached view of the mainmenu, when i use
the cursor keys it switched to the real submenu). I just deactivate this feature
and now it's working fine as it should ...

2.

Maybe a hint for the next release, is it possible to migrate the keymappings xml
files, instead of setting them back to default ?

---

One of the best things for me is that i can use the newst TwinHan BDA Drivers, this makes it possible to use different software which also can
handle the dvb-t card ...

Sub,
I rebooted after the upgrade. Then, I recreated my capture source, after editing my channels on zap2it. Rebooted again, and open the config and did an update EPG.
I have about 89 channels, and it is set for 15 days (actually 14 right?) and it processed it in about 2 minutes.
I didn't lose any info on recordings I have on the drive. I just had to reschedule my shows.

(I assume you meant "since it does NOT have to do as many show comparisions")
3x MVPs (not used anymore)
XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire
Vista Home Premium with RDP hack
AMD Athalon 64 5000+
340gig sata, plus 80SATA+3x160IDE Drives in XP machine for storage.

Thats great. I'm happy with how quickly that occurs.

Oops. yes. I've gone back and editted so others will be able follow what I'm talking about.

It happened again this morning. The log shows the rec. service attempting to record...

D:\GB-PVR\Manual Recordings\T4:Futurama...blah.mpg.

This time it was an actual failure - I'll explain. T4 is a teen programming slot on Channel 4 and the programmes get the 'T4:' prefix attached. The normal rec. service logic normally removes the colon to produce a recording file called T4Futurama...blah.mpg. In this instance, the colon was retained (as shown above) and resulted in a 0KB file simply called 'T4'.

What I don't get is that 3 episodes of T4:Friends recorded later this morning correctly to the D:\GB-PVR\T4Friends folder.

I just noticed that I can't skip around in a video that's currently being recorded. On the OSD it says that the file is 0min and 0sec long, so it just plays it from the begining but I can't skip forwards. I don't think I used the feature in v0.95.11, but it worked in v0.94.xx.

Everything works fine when I'm playing a recording that's already finished, so it's in no way a big problem. I just thought I'd mention it Smile
