hi there,

just downloaded the latest update. installed over the top. All working as before, still unable to download the epg (via dvb broadcast). First Twinhan card will now not pick up any channels at all although when scanning it picks up signal and reports it back correctly. Second one working as before.

So i deleted the cards and re-added, and also changed back the config.xml (bdaautodecttuneer set to true). No change.

reset to false

Now when loading config program it crashes every time.

Its not a problem I was aware of, so no, its not something fixed in this release. That said, I'm guessing its one of the plugins you've install monitoring the event queue. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Thanks, sub, you gave me a path to follow. It was the webcams plugin that was causing the problem. There was a site that had gone bad and this must have been upsetting things.

heres the log. i will try an uninstall/reboot/re-install to try and fix the startup error as i cant see anything in the logs relating to the unhandled error. There is an error from during the tuning which might be useful.

i will post again after the reinstall if it fixes anything.

uninstalled and reinstalled. no result.

reinstalled

both cards working fine !!!!!!! (sorry i know too many ! are bad for health).

fantastic, amazing, brilliant etc.

so only remaining problem it that neither are able to pick up dvb broadcast epg. finickety i know, but xmltv doesnt really work with freeview as its more aimed at satelite/cable broadcasts (different channels that done match and no radio epg (we pick up all radio channels by freeview here)).

i will post current logs in a moment as had to do quick reply as so excited...

Backed up prior version and installed the new release over the old and got an error. Then tried uninstalling and reinstalling the new version and I get this:
Thinking about going back a version to get it back working again. Will poke around in the logs and see if I see anything.
