No DVD-Control

When playing back a DVD or DVD-Files from Harddisk via Xcard, functions like PAUSE, FF, REW, SKIP aren't available. It doesn't work neither on the keyboard (ctrl-q, ctrl-p, ...) nor with the hauppauge remote control. After pressing the PAUSE button two times I get an error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

My setup: GBPVR V.094.13, Hauppauge 350 TV Tuner, Xcard for TV-OUT, default DVD-Navigator (the only one I can choose)

I dont think the XCard DVD player has functioned for a couple of releases.

Does anyone know a version of gbpvr that controls properly the dvd playback on the xcard, i.e. PAUSE, FF, REW etc.

I started with V.094.13 and I can't get the DVD controls to work (except the DVD menus). When I start playing back the movie, the only control that work are STOP and the MENU button which returns me to the DVD menu.

I am not the expert in this area, but you mentioned, that you can choose only one DVD-Navigator.

Have you tried to install PowerDVD or WinDVD? One of them install's it's own DVD-Navigator which you can choose then from the combo-field in the GB-PVR Config App.

I am not sure if this could help, you have to find out by yourself

I cant remember for sure, but I'm fairly sure v0.92 broke DVD support on the XCard, so you'd need v0.91.

These have no effect when you're using an XCard.

I dont know. I've long since deleted any version of it I had. If you're lucky, another user here may have a copy they can offer you.
