Hi psycik,
very cool improvements in the new version !!! Nearly everything can be translated now - thnx for that !!!
I only have again the error within the Event Viewer and some text in the EPG Part can`t be translated,
i done it for me hard in the DLL (Sorry for that).
I attached two pictures just to show what i mean ...
Another thing would be nice, when it would be possible to set one of the Buttons to default, when
starting the Plugin ...
I tired it with your language file. My event viewer works, and I never call for any hard coded logs, i.e. application etc. All I do is display what comes from the system, and call one of those names.
Can you try it again and grab me a gbpvr.exe.log there might be an error in there to help - although I don't imagine it would be too useful.
Yeah in the EPG I do hard code some text, I'll look at making that translated.
Is it possible for this plugin to have user defined log files viewed?
It doesn't have to do any parsing except to view the information. This would be good for external plugins that have logs. For example, I use a transcode queue that I would like to be able to see. Essentially it becomes a text view in the end.
Correct me if I'm wrong (basically I'm relying of a babelfish translation of German to English. But is:
Code:
Mittwoch - 21.12.2005 18:21:36.367 ERROR [4] Error: msg=0x100 (WM_KEYDOWN) hwnd=0x701b6 wparam=0xd lparam=0x1c0001 result=0x0 : System.InvalidOperationException: Das Ereignisprotokoll 'Anwendung' auf dem Computer '.' ist nicht vorhanden.
Saying Event log "Application" does not exist. That's really strange.
Are you able to open the System or Security logs??
I'll work on adding a bit more error catching so at least it will get over this problem.
One things have you tried actually looking at the event logs?? Like starting eventvwr.msc and having a look at the Application Log.
