I fixed it by adjusting my computer time zone for 1 hour late..
Is there a neater solution?

How GBPVR records by the way, so all this time confusion could be worked around?

What I meant is (concerning zap2it type of listing):
1- does GBPVR use the -6 GMT settings you give it when you first install it? If no, why we need to enter that settings?
2- Does it use the windows system clock? Looks to me that it is using the windows clock.

Will it use Windows clock for recordings? i.e. My Time zone change I made in windows, will it fix all my problems?

Thanks a lot in advance...

Cheers..

Read this tread: http://gbpvr.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST&f=2&t=924

It has to do with GMT and how windows adjusts for daylight savings automatically.

My scheduled recording did NOT start at all, not an hour late, not earlier, not on time.
Is this has anything to do with me chaning my time zone in windows and it is not matching the time zone in GB-PVR setting?

It has been over 3 hours already, and it did not start recording, not even changing the channel, and still says in the recordings menu that the program is scheduled (today) at 8:00A, though it is 11:00AM now..

What is happening here..
It used to work fine (but an hour earlier) before I changed my windows time zone..

Cheers...

Try restarting the GBPVR Service and see if that updates the status of the program you scheduled.
