SlimmGBPVR - replacement for GBPVRTray

Slimm GBPVR seems to be working fine for me now. Right now, I'm seeing three upcoming recordings. Earlier, I saw a current recording and the next upcoming recording. I haven't seen it say "no recordings scheduled" since yesterday. What did I change? I downloaded the new Weather plugin from Jeff, which included an updated CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll. Do you think that fixed the problems, or is it just that the bug is intermittent and I'm just not seeing it right now?

I don't use CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll anymore so it's not that. I think it is an intermittent bug. I normally see it soon after updating the EPG or adding or removing a scheduled recording.

The next release will have this bug fixed one way or the other... I hope...

Bug fix:

• Pending recordings not being listed in the balloon should now be fixed.
  
• Hover behaviour made more correct. Now balloon only appears if you hover in the same place whereas before it would show even if you just wafted over the icon in the tray.

• Now the contents of your recordings folder is listed and can be used to launch the file. The effect is the same as double-clicking the file in Windows Explorer.

I went to try SlimmGBPVR for the first time today. Right-clicking on the icon yielded and unhandled exception. See below:

[That was version .9 which I downloaded from Slimm Solutions. After that crashed, I installed version .832 which I had previously downloaded but never installed. .832 works, so something broke in going to .9 ]

Dreadfully sorry about that. This bug is currently under investigation as my number 1 priority and will be removed in the next build.

I cannot get to work at all. I have .NET 2.0 and the wiki version. It shows when a recording is in progress but does not tell me what is recordingin the balloon.

When I left click on it, it does not tell me the next few recordings.

This was a known bug in version 0.832. Have you tried the beta version? It is version 0.9.

Thanks for the feedback and bug reports.

Bug fixes:

• Messages.RecordingDate bug should be gone.
  
• Context menu now opens much much faster, this should help with problems when it didn't open or took so long you thought it wasn't opening.
