it works with id3v2.3 i think, theres an updated id3 library available but its now compiled in .net 2.0, and i have no idea if this means you must have .net 2.0 installed to use this library (and i dont want .net 2 just yet, to much of a drama....).

So what is the mymusic database?

surprisingly enough its a database, that "My Music" uses, who would have thought :O

(if its not found, it just wont be able to show info for .cda files, it will still work though).

This was the dependency I originally refered to but I'm begining think it's simply not that important...

but its not needed, so not a dependency. its just if its there it will take advantage of it, if its not it wont.

I wonder if there's a newer version that i don't have. I get embedded cover art to show in jukebox, but not on the music panel. if it supports ID3v2 or above i would think i would be seeing it.

i dont use the same library as the jukebox plugin, i have no idea what the uses for to read/write id3 tags....

Oh well it was a thought. I checked the wiki and it was the same ones that i had. I don't really know what was used in jukebox to read the embedded album art but it sure is nice.

yeah im looking for a new tag reader for my music 3, and i have updated the music panel (havent released the update though).
