None of these four display anything for me, only name and channel actually list anything. I saw something about adding "zaptools" followed by login and password to the postupdateEPG, but it didn't do anything for me. Anyway I don't get why it would have channels and show titles but not the rest. Help! Cause this thing'll be awesome if I can get it working.

subtitle allows you to search in a subtitle or description.

cast and genre are extra info (genere are now part of gbpvr) before we were downloading them separately.

But how do I use them? When I go to Description, subtitle, cast, or genre, there is nothing there. It's just blank and I can't search anything in those categories. When I go to channel or show name, a list of is shown and I can search it.

I'm using zap2it. I went to postupdateEPG.bat and added the last line:

cd c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr
PriorityRecording.exe > recording.log
rem rectracker -purge -subtitle
rem recycler.exe
zapimport name pass

-where "name" and "pass" are my zap2it login and password. I have Xsearch enabled. It works fine for everything put the categories I listed above.

you use the keyboard. You can enter a "string" for the subtitle that it will search in.

ZapImport should give you the extra info so cast and genere's should appear.

I get a list of shows when I go to "Name." Shouldn't I get a list of genre's when I got to "Genre"? I don't...and it doesn't seem to be letting me search anything in there. I must be doing something stupid....

subtitles comes in via the gbpvr database. The size is not correct so it is not being populated. Try calling zap import from the command line and see what it says.
