Before i go out and blow 200 dollars on some 2.1 or 5.1 speakers id like to see if i can fix this from the computer.
During viewing and while watching my recordings i notice the audio level is VERY low.
(WMP you watch the lil bitblocks jump up and down... not so high)
Im wondering what might help this?(ive tried system default cyberlink and mpeg audio decoders)
With my speakers i get no sound when there turned completely off (duh) and when about 1/5th some sound hearable and stuff ( but not loud over a hum of my computer much) Not enough to fill a room.. only sitting next to them you can hear well.
And from about 2/5ths to about max there isnt much improvement.

Use FFDShows Audio filters to work on the RAW audio. You can boost the sound level there. I have to do this for my GBPVR recorded shows as well, as the standard volume level they record at is pretty low.

If you don't want or need the Image enhancers in FFDShow just tell it to install the audio only.
