Hi all,

I own a PC Zapper but that doesn't include an EPG nor a recorder support. So I built a script for PCZapper to support GBPVR with PCZappers remote control.
I published my findings here

Works like a charm!

Yoh,

I have modified Hanno's GB-PVR Script so that it now work on the old Palmbutler (now called PCZapper)

GB-PVR is one of the best upgrades to Palmbutler ever Smile

Script and description is attached as txt file (do-it-yourself kit Smile Smile )

Nope!

A standard palmbutler install.

-Choose Palmbutler config
- add the *.psm as a script

Voila!!!

Good luck!

That's the way Palmbutler works, but it's no big deal.....

You need to click 2 buttons on the remote (instead of one) - hope you will survive Big Grin

Mmm... i didn'tSad

I added the script in Palm Butler software, but don't know how to disable the palmbutler buttons themself. When i push the "MyPictures" icon on the remote, Palmbutler starts. Can i disable that?

And besides this, how do i install the remote in GBPVR, because i don't understand the instructions in the script self..

Please help!!

Dooough!!!

Sorry to hear that :S

A small guide:
1. Start the palmbutler configuration.
2. In the Menu bare to the rigth, you need to add a [Static Folder] (you can call it Apps. Move this Static Folder to the top of the menu by using the blue arrows
3. Click on the new [Static folder] and add a Script, specify the name: GBPVR and the location of the GBPVR.psm file and click OK
4. Click OK
5. Click the Menu Button on the Palmbutler Remote
6. Navigate to the Apps folder (If this is the first the right click)
7. navigate down to the GBPVR entry (the first one ) and hold down one of the collorbutton (I'm using the Green one) and there should come a small green dot to the rigth of the GBPVR entry.
8. Click the Enter button ( or the green button) and the GBPVR application should start

Next tíme you will use the GBPVR application, just press menu on the palmbutler remote. Then the green button.and the GBPVR should start.

When GBPVR is started - use the key stoke listed in the txt file

Good luck

hooray!
it works (neat!)

Still the "back" button or the "stop" button have the same functionality in the menu.
For example, when i play music (mp3) and go back to another menu and i want to stop the music; now i have to go back to the music menu to stop it, but i want to actually pres the "stop" button on the remote where-ever i am to stop the music.
Possible?

Furthermore, when i quit gbpvr, i have to press the tv/pc button first, to get into the palmbutler menu, so i can close it and go back to windows. Is it possible to automaticly show the palmbutler menu, or even close it down totally into windows when i quit gbpvr?
