.bat as a custom task

As a custom task in the plugin-list; currently only executables are allowed. Why isn't it possible to select a .bat-file?

BTW: Great job Sub! GBPVR does it's job perfectly!

You could probably already run a batch files use cmd.exe as the executable and the batch file as the command line argument.

You can already use .bat files as custom tasks, you don't need to run cmd.exe. The only proble is that the file selector in the config tool is set to look for *.exe.

If you enter the name of a batch file it works even though it does not display in the list of files. I've got two custom tasks set up with batch files.

Would be nice if the file selector was set up to show *.exe and *.bat though.

Sorry for my lack of phantasy here, but what are you using custom tasks for?

I use one to update the Epg data, the PC is not connected to the internet all the while so the automatic updates in the night dont do the stuff so I wrote a batch file I can run when I am connected.

I use another to put the computer into standby. I've got a command line program which does the standby stuff.
