Would like to know if this is normal or am doing something wrong. Am using Fast switching for different users for Win XP, also use the same machine to serve as HTPC. I know that MVP is a system service as I see it in my Task Manager as such. However, whenever somebody logs off the MVP servers restarts and whoever is watching will be interrupted until the User is fully logged off and the MVP Service is restarted. Anybody experiencing this with their MVPs as well.

This happens to me as well. Any time a user logs off, my MVP restarts. Fortunately for me, there's only me and my wife, so this doesn't affect us too much. Still, it would be nice if this didn't happen.

You can probably correct the issue by changing the service start up parameters in the control panel to not allow interaction with the desktop.

Thank you, sub. Once again, you have come to the rescue. Although, would you know why the MVP Tray Icon does not appear anymore.

This is a limitation of the way this developer wrote his plugin. It requires the interact with desktop feature. The normal GB-PVR tray will function fine.
