Close WinTV before start recording

Hi,

now, GB-PVR works complete... Cable-TV, Pay-TV, EPG, Recordings. Very nice!
For viewing movies at my pc I'm using the WinTV-Application from hauppauge. But when the WinTV-Application is running and GB-PVR starts recording, I get fatal errors.
There should be a function to close applications before starting new records or using any tv-card-application.

Just use any player like WInDVD, ZoomPlayer, WIndows Media player to watch your movies. Any player that can play mpeg files. Using your WinTV app will always cause this issue and even if sub were to change it you would still lose use of your WinTV app. That's just the wrong app to watch movies with if you're using GB-PVR to record.

Hi,

my problem is not viewing movies with a player. I use WinTV to show Live-TV on my computer.
To show MPEG-Files I use PowerDVD :-)

If you only have one tuner you will always have this problem. Recording uses the tuner card. Playing live TV uses the tuner card. You can only have one app use the tuner card at one time. Get another tuner and then you can record and watch TV at the same time.
