In the latest version (could of been there for ages I don't know I found it by accident) if you press the green button on your remote(this is a Hauppauge 350 remote, I don't know what it would be on others) it displays a mini-guide allowing you to see whats on all the channels now and, crucially, the current time.

it would be cool to display the current time on all those locations, and in tv guide and on main page the free space on your hdd in hh:mm at the default recoring setting, make it look pretty thou not just plain text

i just installed that plugin, its alright but i would love it if it could auto detect your default recording settings (quality i mean) and calculate it off that, and be nice if you could have the current time and the amount of recording time left on the main screen, like in the top right corner or something. and also on the tv guide and recordings menu, these would be the most sensible places for it, and better than have to go check for yourself.

im not sure if a plugin would work thou, maybe sub would have to do it himself, if this is the case, sub can you please give it some thought, it shudnt be that hard to do and would be very useful
