Extend a recording??

This might be another one. I'll start with a question.

While recording, does the recording service ever check back to the database to see if a program has changed it's start/end time.

Recorded the Oz open tennis last night with 5 mins padding on either side......wasn't enough.

If the recording service did, or could check to see if the program start end had changed, someone could look at a plugin to extend the current recording.

Too hard??

No, it doesnt currently reload the recording details for a show that is currently recording.

I have got this on my todo list for the future.

Hi,

I came to this problem yesterday - I needed to extend the endtime of a currently running recording.

What I did was setting the windows clock back by the amount the recording should last longer - and it worked.

But it would be great to be able to update an in-progress-recording.
