My download of the file keep stopping a quarter of the way through the download, like the file is corrupt or something.

Sorry to hear that Kevin. I just tried the Direct download link in both Firefox and Internet Explorer and they worked fine for me.

I have attached the zipped setup file to this post. I hope this helps.

Thanks Mister Slimm for the fast response. The zipped file downloaded fine. I dunno what happened before because I tried IE, Firefox, and Opera and they all did the same thing, but then again I am on a dialup connection so anything is possible. Thanks for the neat program.

Also since those two updates, I can't use the Display control panel applet Sad   . I imagine that's just me though...

Mister Slimm.....have you done a release that removes the splash screen at startup?

The next release will remove the splash screen (or, to be more accurate, will make it user configurable). A beta release can be found here and, as with all beta software, it may contain bugs etc. Give it a shot.

This is an awesome plugin.

I have a request though.

Could you make it so that SlimmGBPVRTray can notify you if a recording is starting, or when a show is about to start (not going to record, just watch)? Something like a pop-up or a ballon notification in a pre-set amount of time before the recording?

I find that when I'm doing some work on my computer I lose track of time and sometimes, I miss the beginning of shows. It would be cool if there was some sort of alarm incorporated into the SlimmGBPVRTray so that you get notices when a show is about to start.

Thanks. Cool idea. Let me understand this clearly, though. You would like a notification of when a programme, not a recording, is about to start. (A balloon is already shown when a recording starts.) If that is your suggestion, I like it and will add it to my wish list.

Yeah a programme. Maybe the ability to show the pop-up/ballon-tip a configurable number of minutes before the show starts. Big Grin

Oh yeah. How do you change options in SlimmGBPVRTray? Is it even possible?

Any chance of putting a time limit on how far after an event that the pop-up balloon will pop-up? I'm occasionally getting a balloon popping up several hours after a recording has finished. I'm also sometimes getting balloons popping up and telling me something again when I come out of GB-PVR.

The other thing I noticed was when I was doing a back-to-back recording on the same channel earlier this week. Everything happened as you'd expect on the first recording, but when the second recording started, a balloon popped up and told me that the first recording had just started (again!). I can't remember if I got a balloon telling me that the first recording had finished.

Apart from these two minor niggles, I like your replacement tray util. Thanks.
