Just wondering if anyone has ever used Jreceiver for anything. Â Before I found Media MVP's I was using Rio receivers. Â The software that came with them was pretty bad and I found a group of people who wrote a new interface for them. Â Rio receivers are on a similar principle as MVP players, but for music only with a small LCD display. Â At any rate, Jreciver appears to be a front end for music organisation and retrieval. Â It allows you to create dynamic playlists, and I believe also streams media to other applications. Â Jreceiver searches an MP3 database using ID3 tags, and you can create dynamic playlists such as genre = rock or genre = pop. Â As you add music of this type the playlists automatically grows. Â Really neat actually. Â the only downside of this is that it's not an easy install. Â there are a few components that have to be installed to make it work. Â Anyways check it out:

Forgot to mention, the web site also has an SDK for Jreceiver.
