Last second cut off each mp3 over mvp

When I use the music player or the MyMusic plugin to stream a list of mp3 files to my mvp, the last second (approximately) of each mp3 gets cut off. Note: when I make mp3 files, I usually don't leave any silence at the beginning or end of the file.

I've been having the exact same problem for a while now which is an annoyance when you are listening to audio books etc...

could it be a buffer thing?

It also cuts off the last half-second or so of mpeg videos played over the mvp. I noticed because it cuts off the "skull!" at the end of Aqua Teen.
