Is there any way to play lossless audio files such as FLAC on the MVP? I seem to remember seeing that the old Jukebox plugin could play flac files but that old plugin doesn't seem to work on MVP. Could also be that that plugin only worked on PC.

I would love to burn all my cds to a lossless format, but seem to think that mvp can't handle that even if I have flac codec.

Also anyone know why my slow pc 667mhz 256mb pc can't play videos but the MVP can without a stutter?

Thanks,
Ryan

The MVP has a hardware mpeg decoder. The computer needs a software decoder to play mpegs. That means it has to use its CPU, which may be too slow on your computer.
I'm not always right

The MVP only supports MP3 audio. You might be able to perform some on the fly conversion to MP3 but obviously would lose the lossless benefits of flac (though it would be useful if your music is only encoded in that format).

Because the MVP has a hardware mpg decoder.
