mce blaster sky uk

I have been trying to get the mce blaster to change channels on my sky digibox(UK). I have read various posts about the problems people are having with this and was wondering if anyone had managed to get this to work.

I managed to get it working last night, i know that the thread in the hip forums talks as if it should not, but some how mine is. I am using hipsend to send the channel numbers from gbpvr to hip which then sends them to the ir blaster which i have stuck on a global tv link which sends the ir to my digibox via the rf2 out cable, weather this makes any difference i dont know.
