Augh Sad

After successfully going through a many of the latest updates, this time I got hit by a .Net unhandled exception.

File or assembly name AxInterop.WMPLib, or one of its dependencies, was not found

The full text is attached.

I haven't touched anything after upgrading yet.

Sub: What do You need for diagnostics before I revert to the previous version?

Niels

Update: The new Plugin disabler saved me for now Smile

I'll get back with the offender soon. I have only a few plugins, so it should be easy to find.

This what i had to deal with, i only reboot my computer, wait for the gbpvr setup to launch again (by itself) and make the update/repair.

Then everything worked fine

How do we use the function to preview TV while in the menu??? I'm not getting this at all - does it only happen after playing a video and hitting the menu button on the remote (I use a Streamzap remote and the menu button does nothing - I use EXIT to get back to the menu - same as ESC I suspect) - If this is the case how do we do this with the keyboard (as asked by Tipstir).

So far everything is working well for me personally after the update - smooth install and its running right off............ If only someone would offer a paid subscription for reliable quality TV Listings in NZ (Are you listening TVGUIDE - seems like they are the most likely as they are the only Neutral one who owns the rights - although maybe they don't own electronic rights - Damb backward NZ'ers!).

Maybe that was what healed mine as well.

New challenge however is that I now seem unable to see or use my (well Jeffs) absolutely indespensible VideoArchive plugin Sad

Tried reinstalling it, but it never appears in the control panel or in the application itself.

I suppose that one is for the Plugin Forum. Just wanted to mention it here, as it is caused by the upgrade.

Smooth update.

Everything looks really nice.

I've implemented the transparency=100% and things are much clearer. The MVP users may be especially happy.

Best Regards,
David

P.S. I really liked the trick about the raid array failure while you made all those last minute changes. I'll use that on my next release.

Correct.

Quote: I use EXIT to get back to the menu - same as ESC I suspect
That will stop playback just as it always has.

Quote:If this is the case how do we do this with the keyboard (as asked by Tipstir).
Press the 'home' key.
