Only if you use the new experimental gbmvp.bin instead of the Hauppauge dongle.bin.

Not hapenning for me. VRM9 remebers fine - but not VRM7

Funny 'cos this is the biggest issue I have with the WAF.
Try the attached patch to see if it helps. Remember to backup your original file. It also corrects an issue with AC3 sound (in theory).

I uninstalled the whole thing and deleted the directory, downloaded the .msi again, and reinstalled. File properties checked out the same, but I must have had something screwy. Works fine now!!!!

Really looking forward to what the skinner's do with it, and having another play with gbmvp.bin on the MVP. Thanks again for all the help, and you can cross me off the nuisance list (for today). Smile

OK so I chose the experimental dongle, and started livetv, then hit the menu key but I get no video-in-window, just the main menu with the blank video box (using the "blue" skin). What am I doing wrong?

Thank you Sub with this new version!!! I'm so glad you decided to add the video in window function. HIGHLY usefull!! Works great too!! I love using the Info/Menu button to toggle between fullscreen tv and tv in a window with the menu on left. SO nice!!! Great job!!!

Nothing more, that answered my question. So will unticking complete EPG reload to do incremental updates reduce the load on zap2it?

All smooth with the upgrade here. Many thanks!
What, me worry?

Did you actually power it up with the gbmvp.bin dongle? The green "standby" button on the MVP remote doesnt power it on or off, it simply turns off the LED on the front of the MVP and disables the screen output. You need to physically remove the power from the back of the unit for a couple of seconds.

Everyone knows how hard I've worked to improve the appearance of The Collection. With this release, sub has done more for appearance of The Collection than I have been able to accomplish in months.

Try it out, or Plain Jane, and I think Contour. The skin changes for this release were made weeks ago.

Best regards,
David

If anyone is wondering about the version number being listed twice in the 'system' screen, it was just a mistake. I forgot to go back and finish the screen. I intended to show some other information, but hadnt decided what exactly.

Skin designers can feel free to remove the repeated version number...
