Try the attached patch to see if it helps. Remember to backup your original file. It also corrects an issue with AC3 sound (in theory).

Sub, Know you are busy and you may have missed the PM. I have tried to download 3 times from home and work and but winzip claims the archive is 'not valid' Updated to winzip10 still no luck.

Thought I'd share my bad experiences with the new release........none

Installed on top of existing setup and all went perfect...great job!

I had a look and it seems to be a problem with timeshifting on a channel change. My gbpvr.exe log is full of these entries:

2/22/2006 4:31:22 PM.078 VERBOSE [17] waiting for livetv data! File size is: 0
2/22/2006 4:31:22 PM.187 VERBOSE [17] waiting for livetv data! File size is: 0
2/22/2006 4:31:22 PM.281 VERBOSE [17] waiting for livetv data! File size is: 0

So it's not starting the file when the channel changes. I have to come out of live tv, back to the menu, then start live tv again (which is then on the requested channel).

Unless you have any pointers that I could look for/ try, I think I'm gonna have to go back to the last release.

Is this happening on every channel change, or just some? I've been unable to reproduce it here so far.

This release is awesome.

Video in a window. (Requested it before ) Now it's a reality More Eye Candy! LOL

sub, is the video window only available in the main menu and the FM tuner? Can it be available in other sections (Like TV guide, Search, etc)

If you're using the default blue skin, then it should show up pretty much everywhere. That said, the default skin doesnt show it on the tv guide screen, only because I couldnt be arsed moving things about to clear a good space for it. Its just a skinning thing though.
