A quick question - has anything changed in this release that would stop the MusicPanel displaying? I am trying to update the MCE2 skin for .96.8 and I can't get it to display. It is in the panels folder and called in the MainMenu - the other panels (recordings, clock) show fine, it's just the music one won't show...

I've also checked the Italian translation I made and found improvements specifically related to the Blue skin.
Regarding this I have a request: the Italian translation of "Recordings" is "Registrazioni", length is quite the same but in the top left of the Recordings window the word is breaked at last character. Can you increase the space assigned to this word?
Is it possible to change size from 160 to 170 as shown bolded into the file: ...\skin\Blue\recordings\skin.xml" to make the word "Registrazioni" to fit?

<CompositeImage name="Background" size="720,480">
<DrawImage filename="..\background.jpg" loc="0,0" size="720,480"/>
<DrawText text="Recordings" loc="5,5" size="170,120" textStyle="ScreenName" align="Left"/>
<Element name="InsetRect" loc="13,340" size="150,110"/>
</CompositeImage>

My impressions:
I'd to say that this release seems more stable then ever!
You've done a really really good job sub!!
As my wife is not so familiar with computer she thanks you a lot for not having any issues since this release has been installed!!

Aahh, I'm sorry, I understand now, never even noticed the language-dir.
I was already wondering where it got the original from every time.

Sub,
Your 0.96.8 release is the best yet... I run on an old PIII 933, and in the past, loading the recordings screen took about 5 or 6 seconds. With this release, it loads in less than a second! Excellent job speeding things up...

i got a similar error with WMP 9.

What function did you try when you got this error? Did you ever find out if WMP 10 was the real solution? I have Win2k so cannot use WMP 10 (from what I know).

Am I correct in the statement that even using gbmvp.bin the music visualisations will only appear on the PC, not the MVP?

Music visualization are not available on the MVP. Its way too slow at updating the screen.

Ambro Wrote:*Bump* - any girdery people out there with this problem (or not)? Sub, is there any unsual way the system plugin interacts with things that may give me a hint where to start troubleshooting?

Just thought I'd add how I got this to actually work. Inside girder I had to select "post message" within the send message plugin. Keyboard via girder emulator doesn't work; only posting messages seems to work without gb-pvr spitting out an error on the new system screen.

Don't really know what the difference is; maybe someone here knows what's going on behind the scenes - at least this might help someone else who has a similiar problem.

Cheers,
Ambro
