My guess is that not all your channels are broadcasting this logical channel number descriptor. Those that are get the correct channel number. The others just get the normal incrementing number treatment.
That's interesting, I hadn't realised that that was the case - I just thought it was common to all DVB systems. Now I know Smile

sub Wrote:To be honest, I wouldnt be surprised. I wasnt expecting anything to change on that front in this release.
Ah, OK - sorry I'd thought was going to change. Good to have the EPG sorted though Smile I'll just scan after 7pm to add the tuning info for those other channels.

Cheers

How do I change aspect ratio in Overlay...can't seem to do it using F7.

Also, when you have PIP...two videos playing how to you stop the video in the lower left hand corner?

It is just changed with the F7 key, but any aspect ratios with a range outside the screen will be ignored.

Also its possible that whatever video decoder you using forces a fixed aspect ratio. Most decoders that do this also provide a way to turn it off. For example, the Nvidia decoder needs to be set to anamorphic to allow the application to control the aspect ratio.

Being able to start two videos is a bug. I've stopped this from happening in the next release. For now just make sure you stop playback before starting another one.

Some updates to my earlier post:

bolacha Wrote:- Sometimes the change won't work and i get a stuck piece of the original program (about 0.5 secs) looping until i press back or stop on the MVP (also using dongle.bin, btw), or a message box saying "could not play file" on the PC.
- 20% of the time the change itself works, but the video from the new channel contains short stutters every 1-2 secs.

- When there's the looping stuck video displaying after changing a channel i can just change channel again and gbpvr will process that normally, and maybe then i get the correct program displaying.

- The stuttering of the video is related to the LiveTV-fileon the harddrive.
As soon as LiveTV is played from a new file, this behaviour also changes.
And by the way:
If i play such a stuttering LiveTV-mpeg in WMP it is just fast-forwarding. (a 0:37 file is played within 2 secs)
Looks like that timeline problem, doesn't it?

Yes, and you're a PVR150 owner, so that is certainly possible.

Did anything change with the netradio? It is no longer displaying the Station name, Genre, or Song title in the Net radio screen, nor is it passing that info via eventText, so now my LCD plug-in only displays the URL.

Apart from that, seems like a good release. The speed up has been great.

It was mentioned several pages back, including a work around.

To start off with, I did the upgrade, and so far haven't noticed anything nasty. Excellant job Sub!

I tried the new dongle for the MVP, but I seemed to have some troubles, so gave up on it. But I'd certainly like to see further development on it!

Out of curiosity; is the mpeg decoding done in hardware or software on the MVP? Just wondering, because if it was the later, then wouldn't the MVP be a good place to integrate the OSD and video feed, rather than loading the server PC?
