Right now, webStreamer displays the recordings that are in the database; things that you have recorded from TV. In the future, I hope to include support for streaming files out of your Video Library as well (this is what you are looking for)

This works for me, it's the same effect as i'm after and it's easier than splitting hairs over what's effectively the same result.

It's the result that's important Wink

If it were integrated into the web admin then you can see that there really only would be any need to add one button to the record dialogue [Record and stream].

Don't worry, it'll get integrated into EWA and things will work much more seamlessly.

Don't think that. Its a great addition to GBPVR. I used to Use ORB but I really like a native way to do things.

Its a great feature.
GBPVR Server:
AMD Sempron 3300+, 1gb DDR, 100, 200 & 500gb HDDs, DVD -/+RW PVR150 RETAIL, PVR150MCE.
GBPVR 1.0.16, SKIN'S = Default Blue, PLUGIN'S = None

Serious? It's great, just get it all sorted to add the playing back of a "live TV" thing as suggested and it's sorted, oh and the greater granularity of bitrate. Smile

lol no problem about the bitrates; the new build will let you put in your own bitrate options.. you'll be able to give them whatever name you want, and set the video and audio bitrates to your liking.

can't wait for new release...32k audio sounds terrible! Smile
also ac3 worked for me in asf and asf seems to be extremely efficient as that's the only mux i could stream 256k with succesfully.. will there also be resolution adjustability? also was wondering if we could get access to use a different encoder,as wmedia encoder and real producer do quite well streaming live from command-line, and are very efficient and produce totally compatible files [for their respective players] and ati cards now have wmv accelleration built in Smile
just a thought...as i used to stream wmv's over dialup! Big Grin so i know at 128k it looks great..and they're free..
[oh and i think they also let you control the stream natively, if i remember correctly]
also, wishing the config button were at the top! lol
Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie
